Principal's Welcome Message

Nau mai, haere mai, welcome to our school.

At our full primary school, we are proud to offer a learning journey that supports and celebrates every child from Years 1–8. Our students grow in a nurturing environment where strong foundations in literacy, numeracy, and the wider curriculum are carefully built in the early years. As they progress, they are encouraged to think critically, take on new challenges, and develop the confidence and leadership skills that prepare them for the future.

One of the strengths of our school is our multilevel learning environment. With a small class size, our teaching team is able to truly know each learner and tailor programmes to meet their individual needs. Our tuakana–teina approach fosters meaningful relationships, where older and younger students learn alongside one another, building a strong sense of belonging, responsibility, and collaboration. This reflects our deep commitment to manaakitanga, creating a caring, inclusive community where everyone feels valued.

Supporting student success is at the heart of everything we do. We prioritise both physical and emotional wellbeing, ensuring our learners feel safe, respected, and connected. Through targeted support for Māori learners, students with additional learning needs, and those who require extra assistance, we work to ensure every child can thrive. Our positive behaviour approach promotes respectful relationships and a strong sense of pride in our school.
